About Us:
Ashleigh Amoroso is a commercial photographer known for creating intentional, vibrant, and beautifully styled imagery for brands. From food and lifestyle to product and editorial work, every project is unique—but quality, detail, and consistency are always non-negotiable.

We’re looking for a freelance photo editor to join our creative workflow on a project-by-project basis. This role is all about partnering with our team to bring final images to life—from the first cull to the final color balance.

The Role:
You’ll work closely with our in-house producer and Ashleigh, who will brief you on each project’s creative direction and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include culling images, applying consistent color correction, making minor retouches, and preparing files for client delivery or hand-off to our dedicated retoucher when deeper edits are required.

What You’ll Do:

• Review and cull RAW image sets to identify final selects.

• Perform consistent editing across batches — adjusting color, white balance, cropping, and straightening to match our aesthetic.

• Apply light Photoshop touch-ups such as removing small distractions, cleaning imperfections, or correcting minor details.

• Ensure all images align with project-specific creative direction and brand standards.

• Deliver edits on time — ideally within one week or less.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proficiency in Capture One and Photoshop.

• A strong eye for color, composition, and visual consistency.

• Experience with commercial or editorial photography (food photography experience a plus).

• Ability to adapt to different styles while maintaining quality.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to take clear direction.

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

The Details

• Compensation: Project-based rates (not per photo). Each project will have a custom rate depending on scope, similar to how we work with our current creative partners.

• Timeline: Projects require turnaround in a week or less.

• Location: Remote — reliable equipment and internet required.
