About
Ashleigh is a commercial photographer, director, consultant, and educator based in Austin, Texas.
I split my time between commercial photography, food styling, and running Ashleigh Amoroso Studio. Before working freelance, I sat in a corporate space dreaming about the business I wanted to create. I envisioned something energizing – something worth the risk that I’d be proud of every day.
I’ve since immersed myself in commercial photography, playing every role from recipe developer to brand collaborator. I’ve developed a business I’m thrilled to call my own and landed dream clients – styling and photographing several cookbooks and working with international brands such as Delta, Patron, Magnolia, and Target. To this day, I accept each project with gratitude and open eyes, knowing each provides a unique opportunity for growth.
More than anything, I love bringing good ideas to fruition in beautiful ways. I support brands, agencies, restaurants, and products through photography, and I support people through the studio designed to nurture growth. Free Lunch: a collective of Austin creatives who reduce food insecurity by cooking and serving food and engaging in food access advocacy.
RAICES: a legal and social service provider who has modeled what a humane immigration system could look like in the U.S.
