Ashleigh Amoroso Studio is a commercial photography studio rooted in thoughtful storytelling, elevated production, and warm, well-run creative spaces. In addition to producing photo and video work for leading brands, we operate two downtown Austin studio spaces that host client shoots, creative productions, and community-driven events. Our studios are designed to be welcoming, flexible, and impeccably maintained—spaces people want to return to.
The Studio and Events Manager is a part-time, outward-facing role focused on growing community, driving studio usage, and ensuring our spaces are consistently event- and production-ready. This person is equal parts connector and caretaker—proactively building relationships and bringing new clients into the studio while also stewarding the day-to-day care and readiness of our physical spaces.
Position Overview
The Studio and Events Manager is responsible for expanding awareness, bookings, and community engagement around Ashleigh Amoroso Studio through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and thoughtful events. This role also oversees the operational readiness of two studio spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and prepared for all shoots and gatherings.
This is an ideal role for someone who thrives on making connections, spotting opportunities, and creating welcoming environments where creative work and relationships can grow. You’ll serve as a public-facing ambassador for the studio—helping people discover the space, experience it firsthand, and come back again.
Rate: $20–$25/hour* TBD based on experience
Core Responsibilities
Events, Outreach & Community Growth (Primary Focus)
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to bring new clients, creatives, agencies, brands, and organizations into the studio through outreach, partnerships, and events.
Build and maintain relationships with producers, creative directors, agencies, and members of the Austin creative community.
Concept, plan, and execute small- to mid-scale events such as open houses, creative gatherings, studio tours, and community activations.
Represent Ashleigh Amoroso Studio at events and during studio visits as a warm, confident, and professional point of contact.
Track outreach efforts and event outcomes to understand what’s driving engagement and bookings.
Stay connected to the local creative landscape and proactively identify collaborations that align with the studio’s brand and goals.
Studio Operations & Event Readiness (Supporting Focus)
Oversee the readiness of two downtown studio spaces, ensuring they are clean, organized, and prepared for all bookings and events.
Perform light cleaning and resets between bookings as needed to maintain a high standard of presentation.
Schedule and manage vendors such as housekeeping and occasional maintenance providers (typically quarterly or as needed).
Support events and larger bookings with on-site presence when required, assisting with setup, flow, and guest experience.
Maintain studio standards, checklists, and documentation to support consistent operations across both spaces.
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time role with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week. Hours will vary based on studio bookings, outreach efforts, and events. Some weeks will be lighter, while others—particularly those with events or multiple bookings—may require additional hours. Flexibility and comfort with a dynamic schedule are important.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in events, studio management, hospitality, or client-facing roles within creative or cultural spaces.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with comfort initiating outreach and following up.
Organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance people-focused work and hands-on logistics.
Appreciation for creative environments and the behind-the-scenes work that makes them run smoothly.
Based in Austin and able to work between downtown studio locations.

About Us:
Ashleigh Amoroso is a commercial photographer known for creating intentional, vibrant, and beautifully styled imagery for brands. From food and lifestyle to product and editorial work, every project is unique—but quality, detail, and consistency are always non-negotiable.
We’re looking for a freelance photo editor to join our creative workflow on a project-by-project basis. This role is all about partnering with our team to bring final images to life—from the first cull to the final color balance.
The Role:
You’ll work closely with our in-house producer and Ashleigh, who will brief you on each project’s creative direction and deliverables. Your responsibilities will include culling images, applying consistent color correction, making minor retouches, and preparing files for client delivery or hand-off to our dedicated retoucher when deeper edits are required.
What You’ll Do:
Review and cull RAW image sets to identify final selects.
Perform consistent editing across batches — adjusting color, white balance, cropping, and straightening to match our aesthetic.
Apply light Photoshop touch-ups such as removing small distractions, cleaning imperfections, or correcting minor details.
Ensure all images align with project-specific creative direction and brand standards.
Deliver edits on time — ideally within one week or less.
What We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in Capture One and Photoshop.
A strong eye for color, composition, and visual consistency.
Experience with commercial or editorial photography (food photography experience a plus).
Ability to adapt to different styles while maintaining quality.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to take clear direction.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
The Details
Compensation: Project-based rates (not per photo). Each project will have a custom rate depending on scope, similar to how we work with our current creative partners.
Timeline: Projects require turnaround in a week or less.
Location: Remote — reliable equipment and internet required.

The ideal candidate is a skilled copywriter, marketing strategist, and community manager who can develop and execute content strategies to engage our audience and grow our program. Proficiency in Kajabi and a passion for education and creativity are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to support the growth of the educational platform.
Create compelling email marketing flows and ensure cohesive messaging across all communications.
Write engaging copy for various channels, including emails, website, and social media.
Design and maintain a content calendar to organize and prioritize projects effectively.
Community Management:
Foster a thriving online community by engaging with students, answering questions, and encouraging participation.
Actively seek feedback from the audience to improve content offerings and engagement.
Marketing & Program Growth:

Proficiency with Circle or similar course delivery and marketing platforms.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills with a knack for engaging and inspiring audiences.
